At Shruti’s School of Performing Arts, we preserve and share this heritage through structured classes that welcome both Nepali-American families and anyone curious about Nepali folk and traditional dance. Founder Shruti Kafle, who grew up immersed in the performing arts of Nepal, brings authentic cultural context to every class — from festival dances to contemporary Nepali fusion choreography.

Classes for Children & Families

Our kids Nepali dance program introduces young dancers to folk rhythms, basic footwork, and cultural storytelling. Classes emphasize joy, discipline, and community — values central to Nepali performing arts. Parents appreciate our structured approach and the opportunity for children to perform at DFW cultural events and studio showcases.

Teen & Adult Nepali Dance

Teen and adult classes explore traditional forms alongside contemporary Nepali fusion choreography. Students develop stage presence, group synchronization, and deeper understanding of the music and costumes associated with Nepali dance traditions. Performance teams prepare pieces for festivals, weddings, and community celebrations across the metroplex.

We teach a range of styles including folk dances associated with festivals and regional traditions, as well as modern Nepali choreography popular at cultural events. Our curriculum adapts to student goals — recreational enjoyment, festival performance, or competition preparation.

Studio Location — Bedford, TX (Serving All DFW)

All in-studio Nepali dance classes take place at our Bedford studio on Airport Freeway. Students from Irving, Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, and Fort Worth regularly make the drive for classes they cannot find elsewhere in the region. Prefer to train from home? Our live online Nepali dance sessions bring the same expert instruction to your living room.
