1. Introduction

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Shruti’s SOPA website or enrolling in any of our classes. These Terms apply to all users, students, parents/guardians, and visitors who access or use our services. By accessing the site or enrolling in classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Company: SHRUTI SOPA LLC, 1809 Airport Fwy, Bedford, TX 76021.

  • Service: Refers to the classes, content, forms, and website operated by Shruti’s SOPA.

  • Device: Any device (computer, phone, tablet) used to access the Service.

  • You: The user, student, or parent/guardian accessing or using our Service.

  • Affiliate: Any entity that is under control or ownership of SHRUTI SOPA LLC.

3. Acknowledgment

By accessing our website or enrolling in any class, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

4. Enrollment, Fees & Refund Policy

  • All registration ($30) and monthly class fees are non-refundable, regardless of attendance.

  • Fees must be prepaid monthly and will not be prorated for late enrollment or absence.

  • Plan changes (e.g., switching from one class to another) are not allowed mid-month.

  • If a student is dismissed due to behavioral violations, a 50% refund of the monthly fee may be granted.

  • A 1-week trial period is available for new students (valid for one class within 7 days of activation).

  • Children aged 5+ may be offered a special 1-day trial if eligible, but must pre-register with a non-refundable fee.

  • If fees are not paid on time without prior notification, a late fee of $5 per day will apply.

  • We reserve the right to send outstanding balances to collections if a student takes a break or terminates membership without prior notice.

5. Breaks, Termination & Time Slots

  • If a student is taking a break or terminating membership, a 1-month prior notice is required, along with submission of the official Termination or Pause Form.

  • Completion of the form and notice does not guarantee the same time slot or class upon return.

6. Make-Up Class Policy

  • Students attending 1 class per week are eligible for 1 make-up class per month.

  • Students attending 2 classes per week are eligible for 2 make-up classes per month.

  • Make-up classes must be coordinated directly with the teacher and attended on alternate time slots/days provided by the teacher.

  • Make-up classes must be taken within the same month and cannot be carried forward.

7. Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By enrolling, you voluntarily assume all risks related to dance, yoga, and physical activities.
You acknowledge that Shruti’s SOPA is not liable for injuries resulting from participation unless due to proven negligence.
Students and guardians must digitally sign the waiver during enrollment.
All students must upload a valid ID before participation.

8. Class Policies & Attendance

  • Shruti’s SOPA reserves the right to reschedule, combine, or substitute classes or instructors.

  • Private sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.

  • Class behavior must be respectful; repeated violations may result in dismissal.

9. Payment Method

  • Payments can be made via Zelle to: shrutisdanceyoga@gmail.com, or by cash in-studio when available.

  • Accepted payment methods may vary depending on the event, activity, or service.

  • Proof of payment (e.g., screenshot, receipt) must be provided for any kind of payment, including enrollment, events, or other activities.

10. Studio Conduct

  • No recording or unauthorized photography is permitted in class.

  • Students and parents must maintain a clean and respectful environment.

  • Children must be picked up promptly after class.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or services of external websites.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Limitation of Liability

Shruti’s SOPA is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you to us within the last 30 days.

14. “As Is” and “As Available” Disclaimer

All services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or results from our classes or website.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States.

16. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we request you contact us first. Legal disputes shall be resolved under Texas jurisdiction.

17. EU & International Users

EU and international users agree that their data and legal relationship with the Service are governed by these Terms and U.S. law.

18. US Legal Compliance

You represent you are not in a sanctioned country or listed on any U.S. government restricted list.

19. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms without prior notice. Any material change will be announced with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of our Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
